Great efforts made by the Division of Mechanisms of the Department between the two holy shrines to serve the visitors.

Continuous work made by the Department of the area between the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), to provide services to the visitors of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them), through the efforts of this department's divisions in the two aspects of security and service, such as the Division of Mechanisms, which carries out a number of activities that contribute to the service of visitors.

To get briefed about these efforts, the Al-Kafeel Network met with this division's head; Mr. Haidar Yasser al-Salami, saying: "The division has a number of vehicles for transporting waste that work for 24 hours, and its mission is to remove dirt and waste from the area between the two holy shrines and the surrounding streets. They are also collecting garbage from all schools and kindergartens belonging to the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas (peace be upon him)."

He added: "The functions of the Division of the mechanisms includes also filling continuously the water reservoirs located in the area between the two Holy Shrines and the surrounding streets, and the Division is managing the vehicles used for the purposes of washing the streets surrounding the area between the two holy shrines."

He added: "Our division also removes the rubble within the geographical area that belongs to the division between the two Holy Shrines which cannot be lifted by the cleaning vehicles. We also carry the task of transporting materials and furniture of the department between the two holy shrines when needed. "

As for the self-sufficiency of the department between the two holy shrines, Mr al-Salami stated: "The Division is providing special vehicles for the purposes of participating in seminars, conferences and forums in which the department participates."

He continued: "The Division includes a committee for examination and maintenance workshop, their task is limited to the examination of the wheels and the explanation of the causes of the faults and then maintenance and repair of faults."
