At the invitation of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Judge Dr. Sayed Madhhar Ali Akbar Naqawi, the delegation of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine arrived in the Republic of Pakistan in order to learn about the conditions of lovers and followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and to work on bridging the ties of love and affection among them and with their beloved holy city of Karbala, and to deliver a bit of the fragrance of its holy shrines, trying to quench the thirst of the longing ones to the master of martyrs and his brother al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them).
The member of the delegation; Sheikh Mohamad Jawad al-Salami, director of the International Relations Center and the representative of the holy shrine in north and south America, stated: "The visit of the delegation of the holy shrine to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan came at the official invitation of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan Judge Dr. Sayed Madhhar Ali Akbar Naqawi. And we pride ourselves as servants of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) to come to this country to share with its people a number of activities of preaching, faith and blessings by some of the gifts from the Imams of guidance (Allah's prayers be upon them all)".
He added: "We hope through this visit to contribute to the development of bridges of communication and bonds of love with this country and especially with the followers and lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and we hope that this step will have positive future effects so we can call it the start of opening channels of joint work, in addition to creating a state of spiritual communion with the majority of those who cannot come to the holy shrines of Karbala."
Many Pakistani television and radio channels discussed the arrival of the delegation of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to Pakistan.
