The Secretary General of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; Engineer Sayed Mohamad al-Ashigar, congratulated Haj Sheikh Ahmad al-Marawi for the honor of being the new Senior Official of the Imam ar-Redha (peace be upon him) holy shrine and wished him success in his work in the holy shrine of the eighth of the Imams of guidance; Imam Ali ar-Redha (peace be upon him).
This came during a visit of a delegation led by a number of the Board of Directors of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to the holy shrine of Imam ar-Redha (peace be upon him) to congratulate Haj Sheikh Ahmad al-Marawi for his role of Senior Official of the Holy Shrine in Mash'had.
During the visit, the two sides discussed the relations between Iraq's holy shrines and the holy shrines in Iran and the extent of their close ties that serve the lovers of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) worldwide. The two sides also discussed the importance of Ziyarat to the holy cities in Iraq and Iran.
The visit also dealt with the facilitations provided by the two sides, whether Iraqi to serve the Iranian visitor or vice versa, especially during the days of the major million Ziyarat, such as Ziyarat Arba'een, which reflects, according to Sheikh al-Marawi, the hospitality of the Iraqi people to serve the visitors of the master of martyrs and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them).
At the end of the Ziyarat, both sides wished each other security, safety and more development and reconstruction to our Islamic countries.
