Service Affairs Department mobilizes its cadres in order to provide the best services to visitors of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl (peace be upon him) on the 'Arafah day.

Amid expectations of receiving millions of the visitors from inside and outside Iraq for the Ziyarat of 'Arafah and Eid days this year, the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has announced the completion of its preparations to receive the visitors of Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) on 'Arafah and Eid days. As the security and service preparations have started early in order to enable the visitors to perform their Ziyarat and their worship acts easily and conveniently.

As for the service preparations, and which needs the greatest efforts, there have been the preparation of integrated service plan to receive the visitors in alignment with their large numbers in terms of providing transportation, resting places, water, medical services, organizing the movement of visitors and other services that would ease the burden on the visitors.

It is to mention that on the 'Arafat Day, the Almighty Allah looks at the visitors of Imam Al-Hussayn’s tomb with mercy before He looks at those gathering on 'Arafat Mountain. And according to another validly reported tradition, Rafa'ah reported that Imam As-Sadeq (peace be upon him) once asked him, “Did you go on Hajj this year?” Rafa'ah answered, “May Allah accept me as ransom for you! I did not have enough resources to go to Hajj. Rather, I could present myself at the tomb of Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).” The Imam (peace be upon him) commented, “Rafa'ah, you have thus not failed to gain what those who presented themselves at Mina have gained! Were it not for that I do not want people to desert going on Hajj, I would pass on to you a discourse that if you hear it, you will never leave visiting the tomb of Al-Hussayn, Allah’s blessings be upon you.” The Imam (peace be upon him) then paused for a while and then continued, “My father has told me that whoever travels to the tomb of Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) recognizing his actual right and showing no pride, will be accompanied by one thousand angels on his right side and one thousand angels on his left. The reward is of one thousand times of Hajj and one thousand times of `umrah with a prophet or a prophet’s successor will also be recorded for him.”
