In preparation for receiving the visitors of Arba'een: maintenance works and modernization of the facilities of the outer host of the al-Abbas Holy Shrine.

The maintenance staff of the Engineering Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine continue the maintenance, renovation and modernization works of the Holy Shrine's Guest Host located on (Karbala - Najaf Road), where the staff have mostly completed these works, aiming to provide the best services and means of comfort to the visitors of the master of Martyrs and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) in the Ziyarat Arba'een.

With regard to these works, the head of the engineering maintenance department, Engineer Samir Abbas, said: "These maintenance and modernization work included the following:

1. Establishing a two-story visitor hall with an area of ​​600 square meters for each floor, with a height of the first floor (4 meters) and the second (3.5 meters).

2- Covering the halls with new secondary ceilings and conduct comprehensive maintenance.

3 - Equipping the two new halls with a cooling and communications systems in addition to electrical work.

4- Creating new sanitary facilities for visitors.

5. Maintaining the systems attached to the host.

6- Removing the debris and covering the floor with muqarnas (pavement tiles).

|Adding: "These upgrades included adding cooling system to the new hall, maintaining refrigerators for storing food and beverages, as well as normal refrigerators, and air intakes were added to all the halls."

He pointed out: "The type of construction used in the new hall is the steel structures, as we started work nearly a month ago, by 12 to 15 working hours a day."
