Organizational measures taken by the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to contribute to the smooth flow of visitors.

In order to organize the Ziyarat and facilitate the smooth movement of visitors, the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine specified gates for the entry of visitors exclusively and their exit, as well as special doors for men and other doors for women, all aimed at organizing the movement of visitors who are flocking every day, 24 hours a day, to the holy shrine in very large numbers.

The gate of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him), was dedicated to the entry of the condolences processions that will come to the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) coming from all over the globe. Their exit will be through another gate; namely Qibla gate, without any intersection with the movement of visitors.

Significant signs were written on each gate in several languages so the visitor identify which door shall he/she uses. In addition to the deployment of guides inside the shrine.

This comes with the aim of organizing the movement of tens of thousands of visitors during the period of the Ziyarat Arba'een, as millions of believers from different countries of the world began days ago to enter the holy city of Karbala, to commemorate the Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).
