The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine holds its annual central celebration on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Great Prophet and his grandson of Imam Ja'far as-Sadeq (prayers be upon both of them).

The Department of Rituals and Hussayni Processions held in cooperation with the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs this afternoon 17th Rabi' Awwal 1441 AH corresponding to November 15, 2019, the annual central celebration on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the great Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and his grandson Imam Ja'far as-Sadeq (peace be upon him) in the Holy Shrine of the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) in the presence of a large number of visitors, as well as a number of the servants of the Master the Moon of Bani Hashem (peace be upon him).

The ceremony began with a recitation from the verses of the Holy Quran followed by a speech delivered by Sheikh Ali Mohan of the Department of Religious Affairs, in which he said: "We congratulate to all believers for this great occasion; the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and of his grandson Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him)".

He added: "Whoever wants to talk about the life of the Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and the life of his grandson Imam Ja'far a-Sadeq (peace be upon him), his speech begins and does not end, because their biography is rich and the way to guide humanity."

He added: "One of the greatest blessings of Allah Almighty is that the Prophet Muhammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) as well as Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) were sent to us, and we must strive to know the value of this grace with reason and heart, so that we do not lose sight of it, as one of the biggest problems of the human in this world is neglecting important matters, which keeps us away from their approach (Allah's prayers be upon them all). "

The poet Zein Al Abidin Al-Saidi then presented his poem about the great Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), followed by the poet Karrar Hussein Al-Karbalai who read his poem about the love and loyalty to the Seal of the Prophets (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and his grandson Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him).

Then stanzas were sung by the Munshid of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Alaa al-Karbalai, followed by the Mullah Thamer Al-'Aredhi who chanted about the Prophet's birthday and the birth anniversary of the sixth of the Imams of guidance; Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him).

The ceremony then ended with the distribution of gifts to the attendees, whose names were like the names of the Prophet and of Imam as-Sadeq (Allah's prayers be upon them).
