A huge condolence banner in front of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

The Holy Shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) is all covered with black to declare the start of the mourning season of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her).

A huge condolence banner was hung at the entrance of the Qibla gate of the holy shrine. The black banner was embroidered with words in white color "Peace be upon you O immaculate martyr" and on the sides, "O Fatima az-Zahra" was embroidered. The length of this banner was 28 meters with 6 meters width.

Another condolence banner was hand on the gate of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) overlooking the square between the two holy shrines, on which the same words were embroidered in red, and on the side it was embroidered in green "Rayhanat al-Nabi", which is one of the titles of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her). The dimensions of this banner was 16 x 6 m.
