The Institute of the Holy Quran at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has adopted many Quranic projects that contribute to the creation and the upbringing a generation armed with Quran, and has made in this field wide and great strides either inside the Institute in Karbala or in its branches in some Iraqi provinces. Among these projects, its national program for the preparation of readers and memorizers of Quran in Iraq, which was adopted by the center, including the establishment of a number of courses and supporting activities such specialized courses in sound and Quranic tune according to a special timetable, in order to develop the performance levels of the participants readers and to improve their levels in the memorization and the recitation of the Holy Quran to made them able to participate in the local and international Quran competitions.
A number of readers in the province of Basra and Diwaniyah have participated in this session, and it will include other provinces later and will last five days, in which the participants receive theoretical and practical lessons in the sound and the Quranic tune and the rules of the recitation and Tajweed, and lessons in the sciences of the Holy Quran. The distinguished graduating students will participate in the second national Quranic competition that will be held in the next few days.
It is worth mentioning that the center of the preparation of the readers and memorizers at the Institute of the Holy Quran, has established a number of leading projects and Quranic courses, including the project of the prince of the national reader, which was launched a few days ago, seeking to provide more Quranic projects in the service of the Holy Book of Allah.
