The High Responsible of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine authorized the dismantling of the old grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him)..

After completing all the parts and pieces of the new grid of Aba al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and with the permission and participation of the High Responsible of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, Sayed Ahmed Al-Safi, the dismantling works of the shrine's old grid that has been installed since more than half century, were launched on Thursday 23rd Jumada Al-Ula 1437 AH corresponding to the 3rd March, 2016.
The ceremony was attended by the Secretary-General of the holy shrine Sayed Mohammad Al-Ashiqar, members of the Board of Directors and the heads of departments of the two holy shrines. Sayed Ahmed Al-Safi has said in his intervention: "All praise to Allah, by the blessings of the owner of this holy sanctuary; Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), we will launch today, the dismantling works of the shrine's old grid of the Master Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (Peace be upon him), which was installed in this holy place since more than half century, under the supervision of Sayed Muhsin Al-Hakim. And after all these years, a new grid is manufactured at the workshops of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine by the servants of the Master Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and four days ago we have announced it by the exhibition of what has been accomplished. And the brothers who have worked in this grid have harnessed great efforts for its completion."
Adding: "We start today the dismantling works to launch later the predisposing works to erect the shrine's new grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and the opening is hoped -God willing- on the birth anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) on the thirteenth of the holy month of Rajab 1437 Ah. May Allah give full support to the workers to accomplish this project."
It is worth mentioning that same staff that have worked in the manufacture of the new grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) will proceed the dismantling works according to dismantling plan developed especially for this work.
It is to note that before the start of these works, the engineering staff at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine have put temporary grids for the purpose of maintaining the smooth movement of the visitors of the holy shrine.
