Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital begins the implementation of the second phase of the project "Doctors without wages", and the beneficiaries call the concerned health authorities to follow its example.

Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital continues its humanitarian project "Doctors without wages" launched at the end of last year, aiming to provide medical services and treatment free of charge to the residents of remote and poor areas who suffer from health problems and it is difficult for them to review the medical centers, either because they are far away or because of the futility of the treatment in them or because of the lack of some medical specialities. The mentioned project is divided in two phases:

The first phase: A field survey of the villages and areas that need this project, then implementing it on the ground through a specialized medical team with varied specialities, who are giving the necessary treatments to the patients free of charge, and registering the cases that need surgical interventions or procedures that are difficult to perform on-site so they can review the hospital.

The second phase: Receiving the patients who have been previously diagnosed in the tour of the medical team, and who decided that these cases need to review the hospital, in order to complete the treatment plan or to conduct examinations and tests or to perform surgical intervention, each according to its case and depending on the plan drawn up by the hospital administration for this purpose.

And after conducting field tours including the provinces of Karbala, Qadisiyah, Nasiriyah, Wasit and Baghdad, the team of "Doctors without wages" started receiving the diagnosed cases to follow the examination of each case.

The beneficiaries from these services, after finding the credibility in what they have heard in their areas, have expressed great pleasure, thanks and appreciation to the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy shrine and the management of the Al-Kafeel Hospital for this step and this program that has alleviated their hardships in regard with their health situation, calling at the same time the government and relevant authorities of the medical field to follow this example in order to alleviate the burden on the patients.
