In preparation for the liberation battle of Tal-A'far, the al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad is conducting a mobilization exercise with live ammunition.

In preparation for its participation in the battle to liberate Tal-A'far, and to find out the readiness of its weapons and their effectiveness, the al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad has conducted on Monday morning the 21st of Dhu al-Qi'dah 1438 AH corresponding to the August, 14, 2017 an expanded mobilization exercise with the use of live ammunition for some of its weapons and army equipment manufactured by the Engineers of the Squad, which have proved their success in the field of throwing and hitting targets, in addition to testing news types that used for the first time in accordance with the conditions of this battle, in which the Squad will participate on a wide level.

The test was conducted on the field of throwing "al-Razazah" western Karbala, and was attended by the Squad' supervisor Mr. Maitham al-Zaidi, and a number of its leaders and commanders of tis formations, as well as representatives of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

The Squad's supervisor; Mr. Maitham al-Zaidi, briefed us on this test, saying: "Today, we assisted to an exercise of mobilization with live ammunition for the armor of the al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad so that the armor battalion test some of the weapons, either the weapons that were repaired or modified by the al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad, as well as testing some medium, heavy and tactical weapons, and two new weapons that will enter to the battle for the first time; system of "Mu`ayyad" and system "Shihab", which have been updated and which parts were manufactures by the staff of the squad with the use of modern technology. And God willing, all of these tests are the final preparations for the liberation of Tal-A'far, which is one of the most important battles in the future."
