The works of the Fourth Hayat Building for the treatment of people with corona virus in Karbala, reach in their final stages.

The Engineering Maintenance Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced that its staff working on the fourth Hayat building project for treating people with corona virus, in the medical city of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) in Karbala, and implemented as a humanitarian initiative to support health cadres in confronting this epidemic, have reached the stage of completion. And that the next few days will witness its handing over to the Karbala Health Department, according to the technical and medical specifications that fit the purpose for which it was created. And it will be a qualitative addition to the health facilities in the governorate that contribute to increasing their clinical capacity, to accommodate the increasing numbers of the affected ones with Covid 19 in the governorate and to reduce pressure on the other lobbies.
This was confirmed to the al-Kafeel Network by the engineer of the project, Mohamed Mustafa Al-Taweel, who added: "The stage of completion in each project is considered one of the important stages that reflect what has been implemented. Our staff have exerted their utmost efforts in order to complete it in a timely manner, challenging the circumstances of their small number, given that the department is tasked with similar work in the governorates of Baghdad and Muthanna, in addition to the regular work of the holy shrine and high temperatures, as well as their proximity to the place of treating the affected ones, but all these conditions were an impetus and an incentive for them to finish what they were assigned to do. "
He added: "Work is currently underway to complete the covering of the building's façade with insulating materials from stone foil, in addition to the completion of the work of delivering the main water sources to the building and linking sewage transmission lines to its outlets, as well as some work on the system of fresh air for all isolation rooms, and work is ongoing on connecting the national electricity to the building, as the distance is long and requires the intervention of the Karbala Electricity Department, accompanied by fixing the wooden sections on the corridors of the building, and also preparing the ground for the purpose of covering it with epoxy.
He concluded by saying, "The department's workshops are now working on completing the medical or administrative equipment and furniture of all the building's rooms and clinics."
