The Engineering Projects Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced that the first phase of the first and third educational complex project has reached a completion rate of 70% with the commencement of the work of the second phase of the project, which also witnessed a completion rate of 30%, and work is still ongoing in all joints of the project.
This was confirmed to the al-Kafeel Network, by the head of the aforementioned department, Eng. Dia Majid Al-Sayegh, who added: “The engineering and technical staff working on the project made remarkable progress in its work, and its general features began to appear in a clear way, especially after the progress made in the first phase of this project, which is located in Al-Ma'malji area in Karbala Governorate. "
He explained: "During this period, many construction works were completed, as well as works related to electrical and mechanical systems, as well as finishing works that reached advanced levels, and include both internal and external finishes, which include secondary ceilings and painting, and works of covering the facade, and exterior painting. And there are other works that have been completed, which are fixing windows and their glass.
Al-Sayegh added, "According to what is planned, we have launched the work in the second phase of the project, which includes the infrastructure works, which are wiring the sewage and rainwater network and constructing the outer wall of the project."
It is noteworthy that this project is being built on an area of (45,000 square meters), and it consists of five schools, one of which is built on 6,000 square meters, on three floors, two kindergartens of three floors on an area of (900) square meters, and two sports halls built on (900) square meters each.
