The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine continues its work with the largest expansion of its external host by 27,270 square meters

The staff of the Engineering Projects Department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine continues its work with the largest expansion of the external host located on the (Najaf-Karbala) Road, in order to accommodate the increasing numbers of visitors and provide the best and finest services to them.

The head of the Engineering Projects Department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, engineer Dia Majeed al-Sa’egh, told Al-Kafeel Network that "the expansion witnessed by the external host, which is currently underway by the al-Lewa’ International Company, will be allocated to women, because the place allocated currently to them does not accommodate their numbers, and this is what forced the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in previous Ziyarat to take temporary places to serve them, but today, based on the directives of His Eminence the Senior Official of the holy shrine, we have developed designs that will be appropriate to provide services to visitors".

He added that "the constructed area amounted to (27,270) square meters, distributed in the form of Halls, service and medical rooms".

He pointed out that "the works have reached advanced stages according to their designs, as the number of buildings included in the women's service complex is six buildings, each building consists of two floors with an area of (800) square meters, and four separate halls ranging from 800 to 1100 square meters will be provided with all the necessary service requirements that the visitor needs".

"The service complex also includes a women's Medical Detachment with an area of (231) square meters, which will include all medical equipment, from a hall for treatments, a pharmacy, rooms for doctors and others, in addition, the complex also includes integrated bathroom units constructed on an area of (522) square," he added.

Al-Sa’egh continued: "The women's service complex will be surrounded by a fence in addition to the main gate and other service rooms, in order to preserve its privacy".
