More than 90 female and male nurses have finished their training course (Al-Kafeel session), which was held in collaboration with the Health Direction of the province of Karbala, according to the applicable laws in the establishment of such courses, in order to employ them in the Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine upon its opening for the purpose of providing the best health and medical services in this great edifice. The goal of this session is to stimulate the new scientific informations in the nursing field and the knowledge of modern means and techniques.
The member of the Medical Committee at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, Dr. Haydar Al-Bahadli stated to the Al-Kafeel Network: "Science, Religion and Ethics when gathered their fruit will be the service of humanity, especially that the medical professions are professions of ethics and humanity, and it is one of the noblest professions in the human history. That is why those who belong to this category should respect the ethics and morals of this profession, and they should be a good example, which was sought by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the nursing staff of its hospital (Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital) during this course. These course are conducted for all entrants in the nursing profession, as the graduates from the nursing college can not practice if they do not enter to this course, to form the Iraqi staff and to invest their energies."
Adding: "The program of this session was carried out under the supervision of specialists, according to the decisions taken by the Iraqi Minister of Health in this matter. The session included theoretical and practical lessons divided into six weekly lectures including nursing lessons about: surgery, anatomy, pediatrics, foundations and ethics of nursing, first air, pharmacy, community health and statistics. The participants in this session also urged on concerting efforts to come up with useful results that would improve the performance of the work in this hospital."
Explaining: "According to the opinion of supervisors and specialist from the Health Ministry, this session was successful, as the participants were committed to the theoretical and practical classes, and most of them for high results, which shows the success of this session through the theoretical and practical exams conducted in four stages."
