The completion of Installing the sophisticated medical equipment and the furniture of the Al-Kafeel Specialized Hospital..

Dr. Haydar Al-Bahadli, member of the Medical Committee at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, supervising the implementation of Al-Kafeel Specialized Hospital, which opening will be next month, stated: "All praise to God, and by the blessings of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), the installation of the medical equipment with all their accessories and joints have been completed according to each department and center at the hospital, as well as the completion of the installation of the hospital furniture, whether in the offices or in the waiting halls according to the developed plan and the specifications agreed upon, international specifications from well known origins that has long expertise in this field and that is used in most hospitals in the world."
Adding: "Al-Kafeel Hospital is a quality addition to the series of projects adopted by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine within its serious and continuous ambition to provide the best of medical and therapeutic services to improve the health level, with what suits the residents of the holy city of Karbala and its visitors from other provinces. Its medical and therapeutic services will be provided to a large segment of the citizens. which will benefit not only to Karbala but to all other provinces, as the competent hospitals in this field in Iraq are few which makes the patients go abroad for the treatment."
Mr. Al-Bahadli continued: "The holy shrine has given "Al-Kafeel" as a name to this hospital in order to be perfect in every sens of the word, in terms of constructions, equipments, furniture and the staff, in order to contribute in easing the burdens of the Iraqi citizen, as a result of extensive ideas and studies, and praise to God, all those who have visited us either from the Iraqi Ministry of Health or the experts in this field, have stated that this hospital includes the highest standards of medical technology, and these medical devices and equipments will be under the supervision of experienced staff."
It is to mention that the hospital is established on an estimated area of 5000m2 of 6 floors, consisting of 135 beds according to the speciality section. It also includes 12 operation rooms, emergency halls, consulting offices and external offices. The aim of the establishment of this project is to support the health sector in Iraq in general and in the province of Karbala in particular, and to complement the previous health projects and to help the local governement which is implementng currently many health projects, as a contribution of the holy shrines of the holy city of Karbala in covering the shortage in the health field.
