The technical staffs working on covering the flooring of the sanctuary of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) continue their works that are nearing completion according to the plan drawn up by the committee supervising the installation of the shrine's grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and the accomplishment of these works, including fixing the pieces of alabaster, which is from natural and rare species of Italy (multi onyx) and characterized by many features such as being natural, has natural colors and strength to bear the weather conditions and gives wonderful reflections.
Therefore, the staff have proceeded in their work to cover it with precision and craftsmanship, taking into account the measurements, the distribution of colors according to each piece and its color shades.
It is to mention that the work plan to install the shrine's new grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) take place within its time limits and even surpassed it as most of the stages have been completed in a record time. The plan included phases such as the dismantling of the old grid starting from its metal pieces down to its wooden parts and structure, as well as the preparation of the flooring for the foundations and pouring the concrete in order to install the new grid's parts, in addition to removing the old alabaster and replace it with new alabaster, noting that the planning and execution of all these works are conducted by the cadres of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.
