The preparations for the opening ceremony of the shrine's new grid of Aba al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him)

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has celebrated many important opening ceremonies for intellectual and architectural projects within and outside the holy city of Karbala, and some of these projects have a certain specificity, as they are unique and leading projects that will write in golden letters the history of Iraq and its holy shrines, such as the completion of the new grid of the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), which was manufactured and installed by Iraqi servants, and which installation was recently completed. A great celebration will be held on the eve of the birth anniversary fo the Commander of the Faithful; Imam Ali ibn abi Taleb (peace be upon both of them); Wednesday the 12th Rajab 1437 AH corresponding to the 20th April 2016 at 8 pm to enable the lovers and followers to enjoy seeing it.
The preparatory Committee overseeing this event explained to Al-Kafeel Network: "The ceremony was prepared for quite some time, choosing for it the suitable place to embrace the crowds cheering on this occasion; the square facing the gate of Qibla of the sanctuary of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to accommodate as many visitors as possible. This event will host also the recitation of poems and interventions as well as a documentary about the journey of the grid's manufacture and a honor ceremony for the workers in the project, in addition to other activities. It will be concluded by the opening of this project and the start of new historical stage of the history of the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him)."
Adding: "The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has produced a short film (15 minutes) to be broadcasted during the ceremony before the opening. And the Satellite channels wishing to broadcast in live the celebration, and willing to use free feed -if arranged- are asked to contact us, to get a copy of it without a logo in order to use it during the live broadcast of the rituals."
