Marking the anniversary of the birth of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine inaugurates the shrine's new grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him)..

Within the celebrations of the auspicious birth anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon him and his father), after the prayers of Maghrib and Isha on Wednesday the 12th Rajab 1437 AH corresponding to the 20th April 2016, the square leading to the gate of Qibla of the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) has embraced the rituals of the opening ceremony of the shrine's new grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), which was manufactured and installed by the working servants at the factory of the holy shrine for the manufacture of the shrines' grids. This opening ceremony was attended by religious, cultural and academic figures from inside and outside Iraq. One of the most prominent attendees was the religious authority Sheikh Mohamed Is'ac Al-fayad and the representatives of religious authorities in Najaf, in addition to delegations from the holy shrines and sanctuaries, the elders of Iraqi tribes along with the lovers and followers who came to the holy city of Karbala to participate in this great celebration.
The ceremony has begun with the recitation of verses of the Holy Quran by the reader Sayed Hassanein Al-Helo, followed by the word of the High Responsible of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmed Al-Safi, in which he stated: "The workers in the grid's manufacture, have manufactured a wonderful masterpiece that will remain lofty over the years, and they have confirmed the ability of the people of this country to realize such creative achievements. Only Allah will give them the best reward..."
Followed by the word of the head of the Shiite Endowment; Sayed 'Ala Al-Musawi, in which he said: "The successive achievements of the holy shrines have given the example in the exclusivity, and have proven that all the problems faced by the country can not hindrance the luminous candles that give us the hope of the good existing in this country and the skills of his children..."
Then came the word of the workers in the factory of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the manufacture of the shrines' grids, which had the honor for the completion of this blessed work, delivered on their behalf by Mr. Hussam Mohamd Jawad, stating: "We thank the Almighty Allah for His nice blessings and graces, and we thank the owner of the sanctuary, the son of the Master of humans Aba Al-Fadl (Peace be upon him), and we present our continuous thank to the eminence Sayed Ahmed Al-Safi..."
Then, the workers and supervisors on this blessed work and great achievement, through which they have entered through the wide doors to the history, were honored by the High Responsible, sayed al-Safi by the shield and necklace of the holy shrine in recognition and in appreciation for their efforts during the period of completion of the project.
The ceremony included also the recitation of a number of poems (classical and popular poems) of poets from inside and outside Iraq, such as Sheikh Abd Al-Hussayn Sadeq from Lebanon, Mohamed Al-Hirzi and Nasser Al-Salehi.
A movie documenting the various stages of the manufacture of the holy grid by the servants working at the factory of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the manufacture of the shrines' grids, was displayed.
The ceremony was concluded by an invitation of the high responsible of the Al-abbas's (p) holy shrine to the attendees and guests of Aba Al-Fadl Al-abbas (peace be upon him) for the opening of the new grid. They then marched on the sound of military music and chants of "Labbayka Ya Abbas", the gate of the golden Ewan opened for them, so they could have the honor to see the grid of the bearer of the banner of At-Taf, the provider of the water to the thirsty ones; Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
