The Quranic inscription is composed of 18 copper tiles pieces plated with gold and blue enamel, the chosen verse is from Surat Al-Anbiya (The Prophets) verse 105: (وَلَقَدْ كَتَبْنَا فِي الزَّبُورِ مِن بَعْدِ الذِّكْرِ أَنَّ الْأَرْضَ يَرِثُهَا عِبَادِيَ الصَّالِحُونَ){And We have already written in the book [of Psalms] after the [previous] mention that the land [of Paradise] is inherited by My righteous servants.} written by the Iraqi calligrapher Feras Abbas, using 8 Kgs of gold in each minaret's Quranic band, surrounding it with a length of 11 m and a height of 1,10 m."

And he added: "This Quranic band is surrounded by two golden decorative bands, one from the top and the other from the down, and they are also inlayed with enamel. The lower band is based on a band of golden tiles."

The Secretary of the shrine of Sayed Mohammad Al-Haj Hussayn Ja'far, has in turn thanked the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the efforts to complete the stages of gilding the minarets, and which have proved their success in the first phase. Adding: "We are proud of this achievement as it is manufactured and implemented by exclusively Iraqi hands and in a holy place; the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine."

It is to mention that the first phase of this contracted work with the Secretariat of the shrine of Sayed Mohammad (peace be upon him), has included gilding the upper part of the minarets, the candle, the crown and the muezzin's room, with the Quranic verses from Surat Al-Nur [24 The Light], all made with gold and pure enamel. The amount of the used gold is 53 kilograms of pure 999 carat gold, and 350m2 of copper, which is equivalent to the work space for both minarets.
