The works are ongoing in the project of the second educational and teaching complex

As a result of the experience of the Department of Engineering projects at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in the supervision and projects' implementation thanks to the large number of the implemented projects, either small, medium or major projects, creating a fertile ground for how to deal with their executing companies, which is reflected positively on their implementation within the frameworks and mechanisms of the overall planning of each project and the detailed plans to control the time factor with the cost of the project and the quality of the executed works. And within these projects, the project of the second educational and teaching complex, which is one of the important projects of the holy shrine that have important strategic dimension.

There is a significant progress in the project's works and the completion percentage has achieved 22%. The project is established on an estimated area of 10.710 square meter, and it is a complementary project to the first group that are witnessing rapid achievement progress. The facilities of this group include two schools for boys with classrooms, labs and other educational facilities in three floors, and a kindergarten on an area of 1250 square meter also in three floors, as well as sports hall of multiple uses on an area of 1300 square meter, in addition to a school for girls on a total area of 2400 square meter, all of which have modern designs that fit in with nature of each facility, while maintaining the architectural harmony of the first group.

Making sure that the works match the validated designs, and the materials used in the construction are adequate o the laboratory tests and quality control.

It is to note that the project that is implemented under the direct supervision of the Engineering projects department is located on the road Karbala - Hurr, its implementations was assigned to Sarfand Company of General Contracting Ltd., one of the experienced and efficient companies in this field.
