The al-Abbas's (p) Holy shrine announces that the opening of the expansion project of the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl (peace be upon him) by roofing the holy sanctuary will be on the eve of the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her).

The General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy shrine has announced the completion of preparations for unveiling one of its most prominent projects; the expansion project of the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) by roofing the holy sanctuary, which opening ceremony will be held on the eve of the auspicious birth anniversary of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her), Saturday evening the 19th of Jumada II 1438 AH corresponding to the 18th of March 2017 after Isha prayers.

The preparatory Committee overseeing this event has confirmed that: "The celebration was prepared for quite some time, and a suitable place was chosen to host the crowds cheering on this happy occasion and the opening of this project, which will be held on the place in front of the Qibla gate of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to accommodate the largest possible number of the believers." Indicating: "The event will include some presenting some words and poems as well as a documentary movie about the work stages of this project in addition to other activities. The ceremony will be concluded by the inauguration of the project that is a new urban historical phase in the history of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), which was written by his servants with letters of light.
