The installations of the Islamic inscriptions and decorations of the Qibla Gate of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and the executing company confirms that is will be an architectural masterpiece.

After that the completion of the installation works of the inscriptions and decorations in the interior part of the Qibla gate of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), the works started in the upper part "Gate ceiling", which is an important part as it contains, according to its special designs, inscriptions and decoration that needs accuracy in the installation and high skills, as they are in form of Islamic architectural inscriptions, Muqarnas, cornices and engravings that combine the authenticity of the old heritage with the modernity of the implementation.

This was according to the head of the engineering projects department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Engineer Dea' Majeed al-Sa'egh, who added: "The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has given great attention to its main entrances, at foremost the Qibla Gate, which was designed in a special way. And after that the facade works have been completed, the works started inside the gate, based on Islamic designs that are in harmony with the decoration and designs of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, but differ in some artistic and design matter, which distinguish this gate from other gates of the holy shrine. "

Indicating: "The ceiling of Qibla gate contains many vegetal inscriptions, decorations and medallions (the hanging heads that resemble to bee hives), which were made of iron molds that have been fixed to the gate ceiling, to be covered with special gypsum on which the inscriptions and drawing are engraved inspired from the engravings of the holy shrine, then they are framed by gilded frames according to the design of each part in all areas of the ceiling of the gate. The ongoing works are conducted according to agreed upon time periods, as for the accuracy of the implementation, the works need a long time."

As for the Director of the Company implementing the expansion project of the gates of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine "Ard al-Quds company"; Engineer Hameed Majeed has stressed: "The Qibla gate of the sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) will be an architectural masterpiece in beauty and splendor, as we have taken care of many points including the design touches that respected the general architectural design of the holy shrine, the harmony and the symmetry between all the inscriptions and decorations of the gate despite their overlapping. There are 14 domes in the gate in sign of the 14 infallible Imams (peace be upon him) that are covered with the gilded streaky Kashi, noting that the used streaky Kashi in covering the gate inscriptions is gilded with high proportions of gold."

It is to note that the stages of the gate's project are part of the large and vital project of the expansion of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, making the new gates embracing the old ones, investing in larger areas and using Islamic inscriptions and decorations with beautiful artistic connotations, according to the design and location of each gate, in order to welcome larger numbers of visitors and Hussayni processions entering the holy shrine. These gates were designed and executed by Ard Qods Company for Constructions and under the direct field supervision of the Engineering Projects Department at the holy shrine, as these gates should be implemented with high operational accuracy because of the artistic and technical pieces such as the Muqarnas and inscriptions that need great time and high precision in the execution.
