The First and Third Educational Cultural complex Project: Works at an accelerated pace and achieves advanced completion rates.

The head of the engineering projects department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, Eng. Dea' Majeed Al-Sa'egh, announced the continuation of the works of the first and third educational cultural complex project and achieving advanced completion rates in accordance with the plan prepared in spite of the financial crisis, which was no reason to stop or delay this large and vital project, which is executed by the concerted efforts of the executing company, and the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and its officials, which worked to overcome all difficulties.

He added: "The company executing the project, Al-Baldawi Group for General Trading and Contracting Company is making great efforts to complete the project, and has harnessed all its technical and human resources, harnessing all its technical and human potential, which resulted the progress in the percentage of completion and according to the following:

- The first complex: The completion of the concrete structure of a school and kindergarten and starting with the cutting works according to the areas planned in the designs, accompanied by the completion of the work of the systems of (electricity - sound - cooling - fire extinguishing - warning - and others) in addition to the completion of sanitary facilities, as for the two sport halls, the structure was completed waiting for the installation of the special roof. And the other school belonging to this complex, the ground floor has been completed and the works of the other floor is being proceeded and with respect to the cultural center, the works have reached the ground floor.

- The third complex: This complex includes three schools, the structure of the concrete and systems' installation of one of them was completed. As for the other school, the stage of foundation was completed and the works of the next phase started. And the third school has reached an achievement rate of 80%. As for the kindergarten in this complex, it has reached more than 90%, and the structure of the two gymnasiums of the complex is completed and waiting for the installation of the roof.

The complex is located on the road (Karbala - al-Hurr) with an area of ​​(45,000 m 2), consisting of five schools, the area of each of them is (6,000) square meters on three floors. It also includes two kindergartens on three floors on an area of (900) square meters. It also includes two sport halls, the space of each 900 square meters as well. All of which will be invested for the entertainment of the beneficiaries of this project and be supportive to the activities of schools and kindergartens, in addition to these buildings, there is a cultural center that is the most prominent building in the complex, as it consists of five floors on (15) thousand square meters, containing a hall, theater and facilities that will be invested as planned by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.
