The technical and engineering staff working at Al Afaf Shopping Center puts their finishing touches in preparation for its opening

The works at the al-'Afaf Shopping Center project are going in an increasing pace in its final stages in preparation of its opening in the coming days. This project is one of the important economic projects adopted by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and which will be a prominent commercial and shopping icon in the province of Karbala, as it was built according to the latest designs to be a landmark among the commercial markets of the province to reflect the development of the commercial movement in light of the development of the domestic consumption market.

The head of the Engineering Projects Department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Engineer Dea' Majeed al-Sa'egh said about the most important works currently under way: "Al-'Afaf Shopping Center is at its final stages, after the final inspection of all the systems (cooling, electricity, internet, communications, cameras, as well as fire and alarm systems) in addition to the escalators, and all elevators, as well as conducting a full field survey of all the facilities. Only few matters remain for the final receipt of the project from the executive company; Ard al-Quds Contracting Company, for the opening of this commercial building."

Adding: "The Center will offer the residents and visitors of Karbala a new and exciting shopping experience, including q wide range of prominent brands that are opening in the province for the first time away from commercial fraud and counterfeit brands. This is what we aimed through the designs we have developed for this center, which is in compliance with these commercial requirements."

It is to note that the project is held in the neighborhood of al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) in the province of Karbala on an area of 2600 square meters in three floors divided in two parts: A part for the shopping services, and the second part contains the administrative offices and stores of the project.
