In pictures: Continuing works in the Saqqa 4 Project.

Continuous work witnessed by the Saqqa 4 project, which is one of many projects initiated by the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, some of which are under construction and others under study,. The project is the second warehouse group built on an area of ​​85,750 square meters divided between three large warehouses on a total area of ​​2,500 square meters, composed of a two-storey industrial workshop with a floor area of 3,000 square meters. The height of the floor is 8 meters. The two floors are separated by a roof of modern concrete technique that makes it lightweight to suit the intended purpose. The warehouses are three stores on an area of 2,500 meters and 8 meters height. The project site was chosen near Al-Saqqa 2 stores on Karbala-Ibrahimiyah Road. This locations has large areas that can be invested to establish such project which will be in the future an integrated complex.

Eng. Diaa Majeed Al-Sa'egh, head of the engineering projects department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine explained to al-Kafeel network: "The project's work continues according to the time and technical plans prepared for it, and is witnessing remarkable progress, reaching advanced completion rates. As after the completion of the installation of all iron pieces (Steel structures), we started installing the Sandwich panels that are resistant to fire and weather conditions as they are characterized by thermal insulation, separated by another type of panels; sky light, to provide additional lighting for the surface and the walls. The works has been fully completed for three workshops, as well as the completion of the floor of all the warehouses and workshops, which is a floor of special engineering features. "

He added: "Once the completion of these works we will start the installation of doors and elevators, and then start with the infrastructure, systems and other chores of the project."

It is worth mentioning that the engineering projects department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has implemented dozens of large projects, as well as hundreds of small, medium and large projects inside and outside the shrine since its establishment after the fall of the former regime, most of which have been implemented by Iraqi cadres, supervised and mostly implemented by Iraqi cadres working in companies outside the shrine and rarely carried out by foreign labor.
