After the completion of the first floor of the compound of the boarding complex of female students at the al-'Ameed University of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, the engineering maintenance department reached the advanced stages of construction of the second floor of the project, according to the head of the department, Engineer Abbas Musa Ahmed, who stated to al-Kafeel Network: "The project was is built on an area of 1113 square meters. The main structure is made of steel. The walls are covered with plaster, and the paint and ceramics are added. The floors will be covered also with ceramics and the roof will be cladded with a special material. Also providing it with aluminium windows and wood doors. "
He added: "The establishment of this project respected the highest construction specifications in modern construction. It consists of 36 rooms, in addition to two laundry rooms and two cooking rooms, as well as a secluded sanitary complex."
He continued: "The project was equipped with all the basic systems of electricity system and accessories in addition to the sewerage network and drinking water network, the project was also equipped with a system of cameras and the Internet."
As for the work on the second floor of the project and the rates of achievement, he said: "The work is in full swing and will end in the period set for it. The rate of achievement is about 60%."
