"We have completed 70% of this project as a first stage, and now we are in the second phase of it, which is the completion of the second line and the completion of the main designs, so that we can obtain the approval of the Ministry of Health and obtain approvals for the adoption of this product within the holy city of Karbala, so it can be adopted and used in the Ministry of Health and Iraqi hospitals."

Al-Sa'egh said: "This project took into consideration the international quality standards for the production of intravenous solutions of capacity of 250 mm and 500 mm, which we hope will contribute to covering the shortage in the region in general, as well as being one of the public service projects provided by the holy shrine to the Iraqi citizen."

The member of the consulting team; Eng. Khurshid Haidar, director of the office of the Pharma Design Company, stated: "Me and the members of the consulting office of the Pharma Design company, who have a great experience in various engineering disciplines and specialists in the pharmaceutical industry are here in Karbala, to discuss a vital and important project for the Iraqi people, especially that Iraq witnessed increasing population growth, and such projects are rare in the region because there are no such factories, and the decision of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to establish such project with two production lines, is important as the production capacity is expected to reach (25) million containers per year, with two capacities (250 mm) and (500 mm)."
