The Special Secretariat of the Shrine of al-Qasem son of Imam al-Kadhem (peace be upon both of them) held a joyous ceremony, which witnessed the handing over of the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, the key of the new grid of the shrine of al-Qasem (peace be upon him), to unveil it amid a large presence of prominent religious figures and officials of the holy shrines as well as academics and media as well as the people of the city of Al-Qasem.
The ceremony began with a recitation from the verses of the Holy Quran followed by remembering Sheikh Al-Khaqani and then reading of Surat Al-Fatiha in honor of his soul and the souls of the martyrs of Iraq, and then a speech by the Special Secretary of the Shrine Haj Karim Hussein.
Then came the speech of the delegation of the supreme religious authority in Najaf delivered by His Eminence Sayed Izz al-Din al-Hakim, son of the Grand Religious Authority; His Eminence Sayed Muhammad Said al-Hakim
Then came a speech to the Shiite shrines delivered by its Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Khalifa Al-Jawhar, in which he thanked the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and its servants for their efforts in the manufacture and completion of this holy grid, and also thanked all those who contributed in its manufacture from engineers, workers and craftsmen in the al-Saqqa factory.
Then a poem that chronicles the Grid's industry and its opening day on the al-Mubahala day was presented by the poet of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), Mr. Ali Saffar, followed by a speech by one of the donors, Haj Mohammad Hussein Ali Ni'mah, delivered on his behalf by Dr. Sheikh Ali Shukri.
There was also a poetic participation of the poet Sayed Said Al-Safi Al-Rumaithi. The ceremony was concluded by distributing shields to everyone who contributed to the manufacture of the Grid, and then the key of the new grid was handed over by the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi to the Special Secretary of the shrine of al-Qasem (peace be upon him) and then unveiling the new grid.
