The Department of Engineering is completing the construction project of the internal departments of Al Ameed University.

Thanks to the continuous work of its staff and according to the latest designs and using modern construction machines, the technical maintenance department of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine carried out one of the projects entrusted to it, namely the construction of the internal departments of Al Ameed University, in addition to the series of projects directed and carried out by the department without outside help.

The head of the department; engineer Samir Abbas told the al Kafeel global network: "The project of building the internal departments of Al Ameed University is one of the projects that we have implemented and we have completed it - thank God - in accordance with the latest designs in harmony with the nature of the structure, which is a great scientific edifice."

Adding: "The work in this building, located on the university campus on an area of 1113 m2, was carried out in several stages, installation of (steel structure) columns manufactured in the workshops of the engineering maintenance department, then they were erected and then covered, then equipped with electricity and communication systems. Each floor of this building has kitchens, an electric elevator and an emergency elevator, containing (36) rooms on each floor, making a total of (144) rooms built in a modern style, in addition to sanitary facilities on each floor, as well as electricity, communication and alarm systems, as well as all the requirements of furniture (beds - closets - electrical appliances - blankets and others). "

The university presidency explained: "The project coincided with the start of the new school year. The University took this project into account because it welcomed a large number of students from the Iraqi provinces last year, which made the University decide to provide adequate pensions to house the girls, so that they do not have to struggle to find housing outside their university. "

It should be noted that the Department of Engineering Maintenance is one of the departments that support the facilities of the Holy Shrine, as well as the construction and manufactural matters that enter in the implementation of most of the projects of the Holy Shrine.
