The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine field hospital in Syria provides medical services to about 1,500 Lebanese displaced people daily, as part of humanitarian efforts to relieve the displaced.
"The field hospital provides medical services to about 1,500 displaced Lebanese on a daily basis,"said Ahmad Hussein, the official of Medicine at the holy shrine in Syria.
"Due to the urgent need to expand the medical, nursing, emergency and pharmacy facilities, the holy shrine has fulfilled the request to rehabilitate a suitable building to receive displaced families and provide them with the necessary health services,"he added.
For their part, the displaced praised the role of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in providing medical services, in addition to other services that it was keen to provide in order to alleviate the suffering of displaced Lebanese families.
The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine opened a special field hospital to treat the wounded Lebanese displaced in Syria, after the invitation of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Ali al-Husseini al-Sistani, to do what contributes to alleviating the suffering of the Lebanese people and securing their humanitarian needs, after the recent Zionist aggressions.
