On Saturday morning (23 Jumada II 1437 AH) corresponding to (April 2, 2016) the Imam Al-Hadi (peace be upon him) hospitality compound project was opened, in conjunction with the joys of the believers on the birth anniversary of our Lady Fatima Al-Zahra (peace be upon her). And it has presented its services to tens of thousands of visitors over the past four years.
This project aims to accommodate the increasing number of delegations and personalities who have the honor to visit the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), after that the holy shrines of Iraq have returned to be a source of spiritual, intellectual and cultural radiation for the whole world.
The project was built on an area of (1000) square meters, except for the sidewalk space, and it consists of eight floors with an underground floor (basement), which is a sanitary complex for men and women. It contains (100) health units.
The first floor was dedicated to receive guests and some systems from cameras and cooling, while the other floors were allocated to various hotel apartments (suites) and special rooms of (110) rooms divided equally.
The penultimate floor is dedicated to the host department, which is a central kitchen and dining hall, while the last floor is for two conference rooms, and also includes a group of service systems.
The project was carried out by Tayba Karbala General Contracting Company under the supervision and design of the engineering projects department of the Engineering Projects at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.
