The Indexing Center lists (2550) Iraqi libraries within the International Federation of Libraries map and reaches 99%.

The Center for Indexing and Information Systems of the Library and House of the Manuscripts of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, a division of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, has listed (2550) Iraqi libraries within the map of the International Federation of Libraries and Information.
The director of the center, Mr. Hassanein Al-Musawi, told the al-Kafeel Network: "This achievement came one year after obtaining official approvals from the International Federation of Libraries and Information in the Netherlands."
He added: "The work included the inclusion of libraries in their national, public, academic, school, and societal classes and in all Iraqi governorates. After we have included one year ago (1350) libraries, we were able to add (1200) libraries, so that our coverage of the total of Iraqi libraries increased by 99% approximately".
Stressing: "The owners of libraries not included in the map can add their libraries through the authority file of Iraqi authors, and after checking them, they will be uploaded through the program."
