The success of the experiment with the introduction of improved breeds of sheep

The station of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) for raising livestock and sheep succeeded in introducing improved breeds of sheep and working to breed them. This station belongs to the Department of Agricultural Affairs and Animal Wealth, affiliated to Al-Kafeel General Investment Company, one of the companies of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.
This is according to what was indicated to the al-Kafeel Network, by the head of the department, engineer Ali Maz'al Layedh, who added: "Many are the projects adopted by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, including those related to the agricultural field and animal wealth that has become a part of its interests, and it has sought to develop and advance it after noticing the neglect and retreat they suffer from. And from those projects, this station, which was constructed in a modern, ideal way that fulfills all the scientific conditions, which would elevate sheep breeding projects and increase productivity, and by virtue of these constituents we have succeeded in introducing, multiplying and improving strains of sheep, such as Naimi, Awassi and other types. "
Noting: "The types of sheep that we choose in the fertilization process are among the finest existing sheep and the process is conducted under the supervision of a cadre of specialized veterinarians, in addition to nutrition engineers and a specialized team working each according to its specialization."
He added: "The beginning of the project was according to a methodology studied by (740) sheep, but today, thank God, and as a result of developing the project in advanced stages, the number of annual births reached more than (1600) births annually, and this is a qualitative and quantitative leap for the project. "
