The ninth of the month of Rajab: The birth anniversary of Ali al-Asghar -Baby Abdullah- (peace be upon him).

It is said that on the tenth or the ninth day of the month of Rajab in (60 AH) Abdullah son of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon both of them) was born in Madinah, and by his birth, Imam al-Hussayn and Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them all) were enlightened and delighted, as the master of the youth of the paradise was given another boy to be the intercessor of all believers who seek his intercession for their needs.

His father: Imam al-Hussayn son of Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon them) the grandson of the Holy Prophet; the chosen Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household).

His mother: Al-Rabab daughter of Imru'u al-Qais Ibn Uday, the well-known poet.

His name: After his birth (peace be upon him) Imam al-Hussayn gave him the name of the youngest Ali [Ali al-Asghar], as he named all his sons Ali; Ali al-Akbar, Ali as-Sajjad and Ali al-Asghar (peace be upon them) as he said (peace be upon him): "If God gave me a thousand sons, I would name them Ali." in love of his father; Imam Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon them).

The youngest martyrs of Karbala: Baby Abdullah was the youngest soldier and supporter of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) in Karbala, and the greatest guardian [Waliy] of God and an intercessor to God Almighty, and the greatest oppressed in history, where he was martyred thirsty when he was six months old with a poisoned three headed arrow sent by the cursed Harmala Ibn Kahel al-Kufi, the arrow that slaughtered the baby from the vein into the vein in the hands of his father in the tragedy of at-Taf in Karbala.
