The staffs of the Follow-up Committee on Preventive Measures Formed by the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine began to defuse the outer perimeter of the Sanctuary of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and the streets surrounding it and leading to it, as well as the old city, as part of the preventive and precautionary measures taken to prevent the new Corona virus, and to preserve the safety of visitors and stave off risks.
The official of the Division of Medical Affairs at the Holy Shrine, Dr. Osama Abdel-Hassan, told the al-Kafeel Network: “As part of the precautionary measures undertaken by the committee assigned by the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, and with exceptional efforts by the Engineering Maintenance Department and under the supervision of medical staffs, the outer circumference of the Sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and the service facilities were sterilized, from safety deposit boxes, shoes depository (kishwaniyat), bag-keeping centers, and the entrances to the external gates of the holy sanctuary, as well as its wall from the outside.
He added: "The campaign also included the streets surrounding the Holy Shrine leading to it and the Old City, in addition to shopping and souvenir shops and the visitors' resting areas, restaurants, sanitary complexes and others."
And Dr. Osama explained: "The disinfectants and sterilizers produced by Khair Al-Joud Company, which have proven their efficacy in sterilization and disinfection, have been used in this process."
The official of the Construction Equipment Unit of the Engineering Maintenance Department Hassan Ali Abdul Hussein stated on his part: “In anticipation of the spread of Corona virus, the department's staff, under the supervision of the Medical Affairs Division, began to sterilize the alleys and streets surrounding the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, where people were prepared and qualified to carry out these activities that would be periodic and according to what is determined by the committee. "
It is noteworthy that the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has taken many precautions to prevent coronavirus, and has worked to follow the preventive instructions issued by the competent health authorities.
