The media of the al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine launches an awareness campaign on Coronavirus.

The Media Department of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has launched an awareness campaign for the Corona virus, aiming to educate the public about the nature of the emerging corona virus and its incubation period, symptoms of infection and means of transmission, and how to prevent it, and provide necessary instructions to avoid infection.
According to the head of the department, Dr. Mushtaq Abbas, Ma'an: "This campaign is part of the plan and the precautionary measures taken by all the joints of the holy shrine to prevent this virus. We have started it for a period of time, including:
- Introducing informative video clips about the virus and working on spreading them to the media sites of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, in the forefront of which is the al-Kafeel Global Network and its social networking sites, with the possibility of benefiting from them by satellite channels, where doctors and specialists in this field have been hosted.
- Printing (500 meters) poster with different shapes, measurements and designs supported by informative pictures, in cooperation with the Division of Medical Affairs at the Holy Shrine, and printed by the al-Kafeel Center for Digital Printing and Modern Advertising of our department, and published in the Holy Shrine, sanitary complexes, area between the Two Holy Shrines, roads and public places.
- Printing (50 thousand) educational brochures and distributing them to visitors, in addition to citizens of Karbala to introduce the dangers of this virus.
Mr. Ma'an added: "The campaign is continuous and will be followed by other campaigns in a variety of ways and mechanisms, in order to contribute to increasing the awareness of the citizen in how to deal with this epidemic, prevent it and avoid its dangers if they happen, God forbid."
It is noteworthy that the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has strengthened its preventive measures for transitional diseases and in particular CoronaVirus, which included most of its departments and in particular those in direct contact with the services provided to visitors, in order to preserve the safety of visitors and affiliates alike.
