The al-'Ameed University is organizing a sterilization campaign against the Corona virus.

The al-'Ameed University organized an expanded campaign to sterilize all its facilities, including colleges, internal departments and sanitary complexes, in addition to its administrative and service buildings, as a precautionary measure to limit the spread of the new corona virus and from the standpoint of (prevention is better than treatment).

The campaign, according to the University's administrative assistant; Dr. Alaa Al-Musawi: "It is part of a series of measures taken by the university presidency aimed at preventing this virus."

He explained: "The university, since the beginning of this epidemic occurring in the country and the world, has endeavored to implement all the health and prevention requirements recommended by the crisis cell, the Iraqi Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization. This campaign was implemented in cooperation with the cell formed by the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in accordance with the campaign launched in this regard. "

Al-Musawi confirmed: "The sterilization works were carried out under the supervision of a medical committee and executed by a specialized team from the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, using materials provided by Khair Al-Joud Company in a manner consistent with the nature of the facility."

Al-Musawi concluded his speech: “The al-'Ameed University, within its plan to prevent this epidemic, has published many educational publications and held seminars to introduce the virus and its methods of spreading and limiting it, in addition to implementing all health and medical recommendations and instructions issued by the relevant authorities.”
