Continuing to sanitize and sterilize the area between the Two Holy Shrines.

The Preventive Group working within the Follow-up Committee on the Preventive Measures Formed by the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has begun its work in sanitizing and sterilizing the square between the Two Holy Shrines and the outer perimeter of the Holy Shrine Threshold, aiming to prevent the spread of the new Corona virus, and to maintain the safety of staffs and visitors in addition to the residents of the Old City and in order to stave off dangers of this epidemic.
The official of the Medical Affairs Division at the Holy Shrine, Dr. Osama Abdel Hassan, a member of the Committee, indicated: "The work of sterilizing the area between the two holy shrines falls within the plan of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, which will include the old city and the surrounding of the holy shrines and what is between them, up to its outer perimeter, using sterile and antiseptic materials provided to us by Khair Al-Joud Company and following the scientific methods recommended by the Iraqi Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization."
The executive supervisor of these works, Mr. Hassan Ali Abdel Hussein, explained to the al-Kafeel Network: “The preventive team formed by the Engineering Maintenance Department has the responsibility to sanitize and sterilize the old city within a timetable and spatial schedule determined by the committee, through which it was divided into sectors and our actions today included the square Between the Two Holy Shrines, their roofs, and the water fountains and the ablution's places therein, in addition to the outer perimeter of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and its service centers such as safety boxes and shoes depots, as well as the wall of the fence. Noting that our work is continuous until the completion of all what we are assigned to do by the commission. "
