More than 30 000 saplings EL-Abbas holy shrine participates with in the Second International Flowers Fair held in Basra city

The Agricultural unit belongs to the Service Affairs Department of the EL-Abbas holy shrine participated in the Second International Flowers Fairs held in Basra city and sponsored by Basra governorate center.

The fair would last for 45 days starting from Apr 1, 2013. The head of the Service Affairs Department of the EL-Abbas holy shrine haj Kheleel Mahdi Mohammed stated that, “The focus of this participation is to show the fields of services the EL-Abbas holy shrine has been taking care of, at the same time, it is an attempt to demonstrate the actively various capabilities functioning of the employees.

We have participated in this fair with 30 000 various saplings. A new activity has been added to the fair this year which is some designs have been formed by flowers and decorative saplings, in addition to specifying a 200 square meters area for forming a carpet written on it (Oh the handsome-faced Abbas of Bani Hshim tribe)”

The fair has been attended by many officials, figures and experts in addition to a great presence of people.
