Within the Corona Pandemic Prevention Campaign: The Engineering Projects Division of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is making systems for sterilization.

In compliance with the recommendations and directives of the supreme religious authority in support of medical staff, and according to the directives of the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, the Engineering Projects Division through its engineering workshop manufactured advanced systems that operate automatically for sterilization.
Supervisor of the engineering workshop, Engineer Ali Abbas Ali explained: "In view of the circumstances in which our dear country is going through and in order to avoid the outbreak of the Corona pandemic, automatic sterilization systems have been manufactured."
He added, "The system consists of a pump and electrical sensors, in addition to spray taps, and it can be used in health facilities and public places."
For his part, the engineer of the Implementation and Development Unit inside the workshop, Eng. Mustafa Saad Abd, stated: "Although the official working hours of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine were reduced by 25%, but the engineering and technical staff of the engineering workshop continued to work for the manufacture of sterilization devices, especially after the issuance of the Fatwa of the supreme religious authority to fight the Corona virus and limit its spread. "
Noting: "Work is continuing inside the workshop using all protective equipment, as the medical city of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) was equipped with two sterilization devices, as well as the Ambassador Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) hospital. The work is under way to manufacture other sterilization devices to be used in multiple places."
