The Secretary-General of the Holy Shrine conducts a field tour to follow up the work of the lobby project for the Corona pandemic treatment in Karbala.

The Secretary-General of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; Engineer Mohammad Al-Ashigar, conducted a field tour this Tuesday (6 Sha'ban 1441 AH) corresponding to (31 March 2020), accompanied by his deputy and a number of members of the Board of Directors of the Holy Shrine, to the lobby project for the treatment of the novel Corona pandemic, which will be part of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) medical city in the holy city of Karbala.

The Secretary-General confirmed during the tour: "This project came according to the directives of the Supreme Religious Authority in Najaf to support the medical cadres and the health aspect in the country, and with direct guidance by His Eminence, the Senior Official of the Holy Shrine, Sayed. Ahmad Al-Safi, by building a hall according to the required specifications from the beneficiary. This project will contribute to providing the hospital with a number of beds and quarantine rooms safe for the patients. "

He added: "This project is considered part of the support that the Holy Shrine has undertaken throughout the country on the health side, the first of which was the provision of sterilizers and disinfectants by Khairat Al-Joud and a campaign to sterilize residential areas, as well as providing some medical supplies."

Noting: "Our visits to this project, which is implemented by the Engineering Maintenance Department, to get acquainted with the progress of works in the project, which has reached advanced completion ratios with the help of the servants of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) who work voluntarily to serve the community."
