The Secretary-General of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; Engineer Mohammad Al-Ashigar conducted this afternoon, Wednesday (7 Sha'ban 1441 AH) corresponding to (1 April 2020), accompanied by his deputy and a number of members of the Board of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, a field tour of the reanimation lobby project for people afflicted by the Corona pandemic on an area of the General Hindiya Hospital , Which was undertook by the Holy Shrine as a symbiotic gesture for the raising of preventive measures against Corona virus.
Member of the Board of the Holy Shrine Dr. Abbas Rashid Al-Musawi confirmed: “The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is seeking always to serve the community, and in light of these conditions the country is going through, the Holy Shrine contributes to supporting the health sector and its staffs with what it was able to provide.”
Noting: "This site is a site that is added to other sites that the holy shrine has volunteered to establish, in order to be places of recovery for people affected by the pandemic of corona."
He added: "The staffs of the Holy Shrine, since the beginning of the crisis, volunteered to serve the community in this difficult circumstance, so we find that the Engineering Maintenance Department with its technical and engineering staff volunteers to work in creating these important health sites at the present time to serve the human being, especially since there is a part of them working a few meters away from the reanimation lobby where the people affected by this pandemic are treated. So the recommendations of the General Secretariat for them, are to maintain adherence to the special preventive health instructions. "
He pointed out: "The humanitarian projects of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine do not stop when the need arises. Noting that the Holy Shrine is not a substitute for the government but rather is contributing with it to rise with it for the sake of this service. And there is no doubt that there are upcoming projects after completing this project. "
Stressing: "The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine depends for the completion of such projects at this time on its capabilities, in terms of human resources who possess most of the skills and specializations in the field of construction and various other fields. As for the infrastructure and logistical needs, it has factories and laboratories that supply these projects with what it can. And we can say that it works with self-sufficiency, thank God. "
