The host restaurant of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine offers 4,000 meals to the security forces.

The Host Restaurant of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has provided the security forces charged with maintaining security and preventive curfew measures, taken to limit the spread of the Corona epidemic in the Karbala Governorate, with 4,000 food meals in appreciation of their efforts during this period.
The initiative, as explained by the official of the host restaurant department, Hajj Adel Al-Hamami: "It came in conjunction with the auspicious birth anniversary of the awaited Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance), and based on the directives of the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, which is part of a package of initiatives that it adopted during this period, in appreciation of the efforts made and the great heroic work presented by the classes and formations of the Ministry of Interior and Defense, in sacrificing themselves within the first blocking lines in order to save the lives of citizens, and to preserve their health and safety from the deadly Corona epidemic."
He added: "(4000) food meals have been prepared in addition to fruits and sweets, and they have been distributed in the field to all the security departments of the province, from fixed and mobile controls up to their external entrances. And we will have other campaigns in the coming days, God willing."
For his part, Major General Ahmad Ali Zwaini, Commander of the Police of Karbala, expressed his great thanks and sincere gratitude to the supreme religious authority, for the unparalleled support that it showed to all the Iraqi people without exception and in all circumstances and times, extending his thanks and appreciation to The holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas and their staffs, for their supportive, honorable and distinguished role during the Corona crisis. And at the conclusion of his speech he prayed to the Almighty God to remove this sadness, affliction and epidemic from this nation, He is indeed the Best Lord and the Best Answerer.
