The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine ends its preparations for the harvest season of 1240 dunums of high-grade wheat crop.

The departments of the Al-Saqi and Al-Firdaws agricultural site of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced the completion of all technical and logistical preparations for the high-grade wheat harvest season, on an area of ​​(1240) dunums, and waiting for the Ministry of Agriculture to open the delivery ports for the purpose of supplying the crop.
The director of the Al-Saqi site, Mr. Zaki Sahib, explained to the Al-Kafeel Network: "In addition to the agricultural sites of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, our site was included in the plan of the holy city of Karbala to cultivate high grade crops, which are used as seeds of varieties that return to the Iraqi farmers in the future with abundant production of high nutritional value, and which contributes to achieving food security. "
He explained: "The cultivated area in the Al-Saqi site reached 840 dunums of high-grade wheat, class of Baghdad/22, distributed on (9) axial sprinklers, (6) of them covering an area of ​​480 dunums by (80) dunums per sprinkler. The remaining three sprinklers were added to the project during this season, covering an area of ​​(360) dunums by (120) dunums per sprinkler, while watering the crop was done by well water.
Emphasizing: "All the preparations for harvesting the crop have been completed, where the harvesters were prepared in addition to cutting the watering of the crop more than 10 days ago, and preparing the staff and the team that will carry out these actions, which will be done, God willing, if the silos for the receipt of the crop are opened at the Agriculture Ministry's delivery center".
