The project of the al-Kafeel Technical Garage is one of the most important projects implemented by the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, and will be characterized by the international specifications in line with the objectives envisaged for it; to be one of the most important industrial icons in the holy city of Karbala.
The head of the Engineering Projects Department, Eng. Diaa Majeed Al-Sa'egh, stated: “The garage is a center for containing large numbers of cars belonging to the Holy Shrine, as well as their maintenance, as the garage is divided into five separate areas to contain the vehicles, taking into consideration the provision of specialized staff in the field of maintenance and driving various vehicles, which must be available in such facilities, as the step of establishing a unified garage facilitates work and communication because it includes all the vehicles of the holy shrine in a unified place, in addition to that the vehicles will be supplied with two types of fuel, which is beneficial in terms of time and effort as well.
He added: "The garage is distinguished architecturally because it was constructed by modern and developed methods and of high-quality and light materials, represented by the solid bases (steel structure) and materials resistant to all conditions of hot and cold weather, as well as supported with fire-proofing materials using the latest technology for all parts of the project."
