(Streeta) is the most prominent technique of the Center for Laparoscopic Operations at the Kafeel Specialized Hospital

The Kafeel Specialized Hospital in Karbala has a special center for Laparoscopic operations that works around the clock, and contains techniques that are unique in Iraq, including the technique (Streeta).

The Syrian gastroenterologist Dr. Fayez Sanduq said: "The Kafeel Hospital is one of the modern and advanced hospitals in the world, and we are proud to work in it, as it is distinguished by having the modern equipment and advanced medical staff."

Dr. Sanduq stated: "The Center for Laparoscopic Operations at the hospital possesses modern medical techniques used to treat gastroesophageal reflux. The most prominent is the technique (Streeta), which works by inserting a special tube through the gastroscopy from the mouth through the esophagus, and then to the region between the esophagus and the entrance to the stomach, as frequency waves are launched through small needles connected to a balloon at the end of the tube, in order to restore its function to the normal state."
