With the participation of 582 academics: al-Kafeel University highlights the criteria for selecting good scientific journals.

In continuation of its scientific activities, the al-Kafeel University represented by the Division of Continuing Education and the Research and Development Unit of its College of Pharmacy organized a lecture via the Internet and through one of the communication platforms, the focus of which was (How To Find Suitable Scientific Journals For Your Manuscript).
Dr. Yasmine Ali Hussein, responsible for the research and development unit in the College of Pharmacy, indicated to the al-Kafeel network that she discussed in this symposium "how to publish scientific research in the Scopus and Clarivate platforms and the mechanism for entering these sites, searching for scientific journals and making sure they are on the list of these sites following precise scientific steps. The lecture also dealt with how to choose the magazines that are annual or quarterly, the rate of acceptance of research, how it is published, and the mechanisms for identifying predatory magazines from others.
For her part, Dr. Nawal Al-Mayali, assistant president of the university for scientific affairs, explained: "The university’s choice of these lectures and seminars, which are held according to a special schedule and curriculum, comes from its knowledge that there is a need among researchers and students of higher studies to methods of selecting journals in the Scopus platforms, as well as distinguishing predatory magazines from others. "
