The photographer of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine wins the Best Picture Award in the global competition (35 AWARDS).

The photographer of the al-Kafeel Center for Artistic Production and Photography of the Media Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; Samer Khalil Ibrahim Al-Hussayni won an award among the best (100) photos in the world in the black and white axis in the Russian (35 AWARDS) global competition, in which 117,500 photographers from (170) countries, including Iraq, participated in the black and white axis.

According to Al-Husseini’s statement to the al-Kafeel network: “The competition was judged by (50) international arbitrators. And all the participating photos are subject to evaluation by the committee as a first stage, and the winning photos are transferred to the second stage, which is the audience’s vote, where the number of voters on the images was (98) million votes".

Al-Husseini also affirmed: "Participation in this contest and the harvesting of its prize is one of a series of prizes that were taken by photographers of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, whether in local or international competitions, due to the experience and high technical vision that qualified them for this achievement, in addition to the unlimited support of those in charge in the department and the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine that has worked hard to promote all levels of its artistic staff. "

It is noteworthy that this award, which al-Hussayni won was not the first one during his artistic career, but rather he participated in local and international competitions, so that this award complements the series of prizes that he won previously and the start of future participations and competitions.
